WHAT WE TEST
5 Systems. Complete Picture.
Aflatoxin Group
The most potent naturally occurring carcinogen — classified as a Group 1 carcinogen by the IARC.
Ochratoxin A
A nephrotoxic and immunosuppressive mycotoxin with an exceptionally long half-life in the body.
Trichothecene Group
The most acutely dangerous mycotoxin group — produced by Stachybotrys chartarum (black mold).
Gliotoxin
A potent immunosuppressive mycotoxin that directly kills immune cells.
Zearalenone
A potent xenoestrogen that binds estrogen receptors and disrupts hormonal function.
WHY IT MATTERS
The markers your GP doesn't order.
5
Critical markers missed by standard panels
Aflatoxin B1
The single most potent naturally occurring carcinogen known. IARC Group 1 — the same classification as asbestos and tobacco. Directly damages liver cell DNA and is the primary driver of aflatoxin-related hepatocellular carcinoma.
Ochratoxin A
Accumulates in the kidneys with a half-life of 35 days. One of the most common mycotoxins in the Western diet — found in coffee, wine, dried fruits, and grains. Chronic exposure drives progressive kidney damage that is clinically silent until advanced.
Trichothecenes (T-2/HT-2)
The primary toxin in Stachybotrys (black mold) exposure. Inhibits protein synthesis at the ribosome — one of the few naturally occurring toxins capable of causing direct cellular death on contact. The most clinically significant mycotoxin in water-damaged buildings.
Gliotoxin
Directly kills your immune cells. Induces apoptosis in macrophages and neutrophils — the front line of your innate immune defence. Explains why chronically mold-exposed individuals develop recurrent infections and immune dysfunction.
Zearalenone
The most potent naturally occurring xenoestrogen. Binds estrogen receptors with affinity comparable to pharmaceutical oestradiol. In chronically exposed individuals, this drives measurable hormonal disruption — including cycle irregularity, infertility, and oestrogen dominance.

FAQ
Common Questions
A simple spot urine collection at home using the sterile container in your kit. First-morning urine is recommended for the most accurate results. No fasting or dietary restrictions are required.
Yes. Stop all glutathione, NAC (N-acetyl cysteine), and activated charcoal supplements at least 48 hours before collection. These compounds enhance mycotoxin clearance and may artificially lower your results. Continue all other medications and supplements as normal.
The test screens for 5 specific mycotoxin groups using LCMS/MS/MS (triple quadrupole mass spectrometry). Results are reported as PRESENT or NON-PRESENT for each mycotoxin — identifying whether your body is currently excreting these toxic metabolites.
Two primary routes — inhalation from water-damaged buildings (mold growing behind walls, in ceiling cavities, under flooring, and inside HVAC systems) and ingestion from contaminated foods (grains, corn, peanuts, coffee, wine, dried fruits, and spices). Many people are exposed through both pathways simultaneously.
Yes. Most mycotoxin-producing mold grows behind walls, in ceiling cavities, under flooring, and inside HVAC systems where it is not visible. Many chronic exposures occur in buildings that appear clean. The urine test measures what is inside your body regardless of whether the environmental source has been identified.
Results are returned to your practitioner within 5–10 business days of the lab receiving your sample. We will send your written results summary as soon as they arrive. If you added a 1:1 consultation at checkout, we will contact you to book your session.
